Pregnant Feet at 24 weeks

Its a girl!
Eve arrives excited to show me her growing bump.... on her feet! The roundness of Eve's pregnant belly is reflected in the swollen fullness of the inner arches of her feet. I know it sounds bizarre but Eve was sceptical and now she is showing everyone her pregnant feet! She feels the bump is bigger on her right foot and her instinct tells her this reflects how she feels the baby more on the right side of her belly.

Today Eve has a painful heel and has been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis This condition is painful and unpleasant but not related directly to the pregnancy and no risk to the baby. The maternity reflexology treatment helps to relax Eve and the massage can to some extent relieve the painful condition although other treatment may be needed. Despite this Eve remains positive about her pregnancy and excited about the new baby girl. She feels reflexology is helping her to remain calm and loves the relaxed, chilled feeling it gives her.

  1. First of all congratulation for your pregnancy hun! I arrived on your blog randomly and I loved it! I was really interesting about maternity reflexology... I'm a mum of a little boy called Marlow and I really enjoy reading other mummy stories online. Have you already thought about the baby name? I remember I spent a lot of time on it, I found a good link http://www.bounty.com/babynames/ were you can search by meaning and popularity...Cant wait to hear your bith story, J and her little Marlow
